Our centre has attained AGPAL accreditation, whilst AGPAL accreditation is voluntary, we have attained this accreditation meaning that all our staff are trustworthy and fully licensed according to national statutory requirements.

Dr Seonyoung Park
Dr. Park is General Practitioner with long-term experience as a family doctor and paediatrician. She is fully qualified with FRACGP and MBBS.
She has worked several years in hospitals as a resident doctor in Victoria. She obtained experience in paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, emergency medicine, surgery, palliative care and geriatrics. She completed Australian GP training and obtained a fellowship of RACGP. Before coming to Australia, she worked for more 10 years as a GP and a paediatric specialist in South Korea.
She has keen interests in Paediatric, Women’s Health, Mental Health, ENT, Chronic Health Management, Immunisation and Travel Medicine.
She is fluent in both English and Korean.
Dr Nilantha Jayarathna
Dr Nilantha Jayarathna is a General Practitioner at Burwood Brickworks Medical Centre.
Dr Nilantha Jayarathna obtained his qualifications MBBS in 2008 and had worked in intensive care , emergency units, general medical and surgical units during his career to get comprehensive experience to improve his ability to treat his patients safely . Dr Nilantha Jayarathna successfully completed his fellowship FRACGP in 2019 and has 12 years of experience as a medical practitioner, with a special interests in chronic disease management, minor procedures, men’s health, cosmetics (Botox, fillers, PRP) as a GP.
Before starting at Burwood Brickworks Medical Centre, Dr Nilantha Jayarathna was a Medical officer in general medicine and surgery for 2years, a Medical officer in Intensive care and emergency service units for 4 years and a General Practitioner for 6 years till date.
Dr Nilantha Jayarathna speaks English and Singhalese
Dr Nilantha Jayarathna enjoys hobby Latin Dancing ( Australian National Level competitor ) Gymming and travelling.
Burwood Brickworks Medical Centre is a bulk billing practice to patients holding a valid Medicare card. Some services are excluded and an out of pocket expense will apply. Fees will vary depending on the service.
For our patients who are without a valid Medicare card or OSHC/OVC membership, the following fees do apply;
- Standard consultation – $50
- Long consultation – $75
- Pathology testing will incur additional fees which will be advised prior to collection
- Allied health services will be privately billed

The fees will vary depending on the complexity of the service and procedure required.
