Our Team

Our team is dedicated to providing you with the level of care you are your loved ones deserve. We offer a range of services and are compromised of general practitioners, and allied health staff to make sure you receive the best possible treatment available in one place.

Our centre has attained AGPAL accreditation, whilst AGPAL accreditation is voluntary, we have attained this accreditation meaning that all our staff are trustworthy and fully licensed according to national statutory requirements.

Our team excels in delivering safe and high-quality treatments. We uphold all the tenets of best practice and firmly believe in treating our patients with respect, sensitivity, and honesty.

Seonyoung Park

Dr Seonyoung Park

Dr. Park is General Practitioner with long-term experience as a family doctor and paediatrician. She is fully qualified with FRACGP and MBBS.

She has worked several years in hospitals as a resident doctor in Victoria. She obtained experience in paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, emergency medicine, surgery, palliative care and geriatrics. She completed Australian GP training and obtained a fellowship of RACGP. Before coming to Australia, she worked for more 10 years as a GP and a paediatric specialist in South Korea.

She has keen interests in Paediatric, Women’s Health, Mental Health, ENT, Chronic Health Management, Immunisation and Travel Medicine.

She is fluent in both English and Korean.

Dr Nawaf Al-Obaydi

Dr. Nawaf graduated from College of Medicine – Baghdad University in 2005 and completed hospital training in Eastern Health (Box Hill, Maroondah and Angliss Hospital) then the Australian general practice training with the Victorian Metropolitan Alliance in Melbourne. He has obtained the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners fellowship in 2015 and the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners fellowship in 2016.

He has special interests in cardiovascular disease including Hypertension and Diabetes management, Paediatrics, Dermatology including skin cancer, sexual transmitted disease and travel medicine

Dr. Mamie Chen

Graduated locally at Monash University, interning and working as a resident at Monash Health before becoming a GP.

Special interests in children’s health, women’s health, general medicine

Our Fees

Burwood Brickworks Medical Centre is a bulk billing practice to patients holding a valid Medicare card. Some services are excluded and an out of pocket expense will apply. Fees will vary depending on the service.

Private Patients

For our patients who are without a valid Medicare card or OSHC/OVC membership, the following fees do apply;

  • Standard consultation * – $50
  • Long consultation * – $75
  • Pathology testing will incur additional fees which will be advised prior to collection
  • Allied health services will be privately billed
Additional Fees

Some of the services excluded from bulk billing include

  • RHCA Medicare cardholders
  • Specialist consultations *

The fees will vary depending on the complexity of the service and procedure required.
